Lisa Sampson
Lisa is a Senior Consultant and responsible for the recruitment of junior to mid level marketing specialists within Direct and Integrated client organisations.
Since joining Direct Recruitment in September 2000, she has worked with companies from all industry sectors, including charity, public sector, financial services, publishing, media, travel, retail, automotive and B2B.
She's helped build teams for some companies right from the ground up, recruiting for Nectar and the Enterprise department at News International from when they were just a handful of employees.
Lisa's background as Direct Marketing Manager for IIR Conferences and Marketing Manager at Telecom Express provided her with a basis in understanding for these areas.
Lisa has an Advanced CIM Certificate as well as a Certificate in Recruitment Practice, awarded by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.
Lisa loves her food but she also likes to keep fit. "One of the best days of my life was running the London Marathon in 2005", she says. "I finished in 4 hours 40 mins, exactly twice what it took Paula Radcliffe, and raised £4000 for Arthritis Research".
